Income Limit & Rent Tables

Displays HUD area median income limits and the corresponding maximum LIHTC rents by household size and AMI percentage for a chosen area, across multiple years.

Step by step

1. Search

   Type a county, city, or state name in the search box.
2. Select location

   Pick the correct location from the results dropdown.
3. Choose a year

   Use the year tabs to switch between available data years.
4. Read the tables

   Review the Income Limits table (by household size at 30–80% AMI) and the Maximum Allowable Rents table.
5. View special tables

   If a NNMIL or HERA Special notice appears, open its table from the button.
6. Change area

   Use Change location to look up a different area.

What you get

An AMI banner, an Income Limits table (household-size rows; 30/40/50/60/70/80% and median columns), a Maximum Allowable Rents table (gross rent by bedroom type), and optional NNMIL/HERA Special tables in modals. This is an on-screen reference with no export.

Tips & notes

• Rents shown are gross rents; tenant-paid rent is gross rent minus the utility allowance.
• NNMIL and HERA tables appear only when the area carries those designations.
• Half-person household sizes (e.g., a 1BR imputed at 1.5) are averaged between the two nearest sizes.
