What is this?

This tool provides a simplified, professional-grade interface to HUD's Low-Income Housing Tax Credit project database. It contains data on LIHTC projects placed in service from 1987 through the most recent reporting year.

Data Source

All data comes from HUD's national LIHTC database (huduser.gov). The database is updated periodically as HUD publishes new data, typically on an annual cycle.

Tips

  • Start by selecting a state. You can optionally narrow by city and year range.
  • Use the filter step to focus on specific construction types, credit types, or other project characteristics.
  • Click any project name in the results to see full details, including unit mix and links to other LIHTC Guide tools.
  • Export your results to CSV for further analysis.
